Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team and lead the development of high-performance, scalable web applications. This role is for a systems thinker who bridges the gap between sophisticated UI/UX and robust infrastructure.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop & Maintain: Build high-performance web applications using React.js and Redux, ensuring optimal speed, scalability, and a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate: Work closely with business teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality product solutions on schedule.
- Code Excellence: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code; perform rigorous code reviews and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Innovate: Stay ahead of industry trends to optimize UI/UX designs for technical feasibility and peak performance.
- Technical Ownership: Own and manage the technical lifecycle of web and mobile applications, ensuring seamless deployment and cross-platform functionality.
- Bridge the Stack: Collaborate with Backend Engineers to define API contracts and optimize data flow between FE and BE systems.
Requirements
- Education: BE/BTech in Computer Science from a premier institute.
- Experience: 4–6 years of experience within high-scale tech-product companies, specifically working on scalable systems.
- Core Expertise: Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), CSS, HTML, and modern frameworks (React.js, Redux).
- Tooling: Proficiency in Webpack, Jest, and setting up/managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Technical Breadth: Strong understanding of responsive design, RESTful APIs, browser rendering engines, and web performance optimization.
- Infrastructure & Backend Savvy: Experience working with infrastructure and a solid understanding of how FE systems interact with BE architectures.
- Soft Skills: Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points
- Next.js: Experience with Next.js for SSR/Static site generation is a significant plus.
- TypeScript: Professional experience with TypeScript.
- Infrastructure: Experience with On-Premise deployments and understanding how local infrastructure differs from cloud environments.
