Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the architecture and development of high-scale, distributed server-side systems. You will be responsible for building the backbone of our platform, ensuring that our services are performant, resilient, and ready for high-concurrency “War Room” scenarios.
Primary Responsibilities:
- System Architecture: Design and implement robust Microservices using Go (Golang) or Java, focusing on high throughput and low latency.
- Database Optimization: Own the data layer by implementing advanced DB Indexing strategies and managing complex schemas to ensure query performance.
- Search & Discovery: Architect and maintain ElasticSearch clusters to power real-time, high-speed search functionality.
- High-Level & Low-Level Design: Translate business requirements into technical blueprints using HLD (High-Level Design) for system flow and LLD (Low-Level Design) for optimized class/module structures.
- Infrastructure & On-Prem: Manage deployments across both cloud and On-Premise environments, ensuring system reliability and security.
- Performance Tuning: Implement multi-level Caching (Redis/Memcached) and optimize resource utilization to handle seasonal traffic spikes.
Requirements:
- Education: BE/BTech in Computer Science from a premier institute.
- Experience: 4–6 years of experience in high-scale tech-product companies.
- Core Languages: Professional expertise in Go (Golang) or Java (Spring Boot/Micronaut).
- Problem Solving: Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA); you enjoy solving complex optimization problems.
- Design Mastery: Deep understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code best practices.
- Distributed Systems: Proven experience in building and scaling Microservices and handling inter-service communication (gRPC/Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Search & Data: Hands-on experience with ElasticSearch and advanced SQL/NoSQL performance tuning.
- Infra Management: Comfortable with On-Prem infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and understanding the nuances of bare-metal vs. cloud.
