The SecurityBoat Community CTF Event is an online Capture The Flag competition designed to challenge, educate, and engage cybersecurity enthusiasts and professionals. It’s a platform where participants test their technical skills, solve real-world security challenges, and learn from one another all within a fun, competitive environment.
Organized by the community, for the community, this event embodies our mission to strengthen the digital defense ecosystem. Whether you’re a beginner exploring cybersecurity or an experienced researcher looking to sharpen your edge, the CTF encourages collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.

Rules / Registration Instructions
1. General Information
· Event Type: Online Capture The Flag (CTF)
· Organizer: SecurityBoat Community
· Participation: Individual only (no teams allowed)
· Entry Fee: Free for everyone
· CTF Format: Jeopardy-style (each challenge has assigned points)
· Eligibility: Open to participants worldwide
2. Participation Rules
1. Each participant must register using a valid and unique email address.
2. Only one account per participant is permitted. Multiple accounts will lead to disqualification.
3. Collaboration, flag sharing, or exchanging hints with others is strictly prohibited.
4. Sharing flags, write-ups, or challenge solutions publicly before the event ends is not allowed.
5. Attacking or tampering with the CTF infrastructure (scoreboard, servers, or unintended services) is forbidden.
6. Brute-forcing, denial-of-service (DoS), or excessive automated requests against the platform are prohibited.
7. Use of automated tools or scripts is allowed only if explicitly mentioned in a challenge description.
8. Participants must follow the event’s code of conduct and maintain professionalism throughout.
3. Scoring and Ranking
1. Points are awarded based on the challenge difficulty.
2. In case of a tie, the participant who achieved the score first will rank higher.
4. Fair Play and Ethics
1. Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or unethical behavior will result in immediate disqualification.
2. Organizers reserve the right to monitor activity and remove participants for suspicious conduct.
3. Participants must not attempt to interfere with other participant’s progress or system stability.
4. Challenge content, solutions, and flags must remain confidential until the CTF officially ends.

- Avoid discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate language or behavior.
- Report any misconduct or suspicious activity to the organizers immediately.
- Remember that this event is for learning, ethical hacking, and community growth — not hostility or competition at other’s expense.
- Violation of this code may result in warnings, disqualification, or permanent ban from future events.
7. Legal and Disclaimer
- The CTF environment is designed solely for educational and competitive purposes.
- Participants must not target or attack any external systems beyond the official CTF infrastructure.
- The SecurityBoat Community and its organizers are not responsible for any misuse or damage resulting from rule violations.
- By participating, you agree to follow all rules and accept that organizers’ decisions are final.
